About Lynda Paine Lettings

Meet our experienced team...


 

Lynda Paine Proprietor

Lynda started her career in the property market over eighteen years ago when she joined one of the South Coast's largest letting agencies.  It was here where she developed invaluable knowledge within the letting industry that she was able to take with her to set up a lettings division within a local, family run business.  After a number of successful years and building up an extensive portfolio Lynda decided to leave to set up her own business.

Lynda Paine Lettings has grown from strength to strength since starting out in Boundary Road, Hove in November 2002, and in June 2006 due to the company's success it moved to its current offices in Church Road, Hove.

Although the company has grown significantly and boasts an extensive property portfolio, Lynda still operates a very hands on approach with both tenants and landlords.  She is extremely conscientious and feels matching the right applicants to the right property is vital and always tries her utmost to ensure maintenance issues are sorted out promptly and to a high standard.

Along with the day to day management of the business, Lynda is still very focused on developing and expanding the business further.  Topical issues are also extremely important to her and she has set up in-house teams to oversee both environment issues including our carbon footprint and sustainability issues for landlords.

Carole Property Manager

Carole has been with us since September 2007 and looks after the property management, including gas safety inspections, maintenance issues and making sure the tradesmen get paid promptly.

Originally from Hertfordshire, she worked at the famous Champneys Health Resort for over 10 years, mainly in PA roles but she was also involved in marketing, branding, graphic design and print - skills which she has put to good use here at Lynda Paine Lettings.  She has worked in the property industry before, for a house building company, where she was involved in marketing of new homes. After spending a year in France, she moved to Brighton in 2006 and before joining us, worked for another local estate agent!

Andy Lettings and Sales Manager

Andy  started his career in 1997 with a firm of Independent Estate Agents & Valuers based in central Brighton, where he gained a strong grounding in all aspects of property transactions. In 2002 he co-founded his own firm based in West Hove specialising in residential sales & lettings.

 

Now with over ten years experience working in the local property industry he has brought with him knowledge of both the rental and sales markets. He holds the NAEA technical award in residential property sales, is a member of the National Association of Estate Agents & The Brighton and Hove Estate Agents Association.

Emily Negotiator

Emily gained a strong grounding in residential property matters whilst working for her father’s independent estate agency based in West Sussex. In 2006 she joined a well established Brighton based firm as a lettings negotiator gaining further experience in a very busy market place.

 

Currently working towards her ‘National Association of Estate Agents’ technical award she joined Lynda Paine Lettings at the beginning of 2009 and has quickly become an important part of the team.

 

Gina Agency Co-ordinator

Gina joined us on part-time, freelance basis at the beginning of 2008 to help out with the day to day running of our ever expanding business.

Gina has over 10 years experience of working within marketing and advertising agencies and although she came to us from non-lettings background her project management skills have meant she has been able to assist us greatly within both sales and the management side of our portfolio.

 

Nikki Saturday viewing guide

Nikki conducts viewings for us on Saturday’s having joined us early this year with eight years sales experience.

 

With a genuine enjoyment of meeting new people, a positive attitude and a sense of adventure, we feel that this is a role that suits her down to the ground.

Lisa Admin

Lisa has recently joined us part time, to help out with administration and property management, carrying out the quarterly inspections on our managed properties.
